these headsets paired up with my HP xv5220us laptop, Acer Aspire one, and my i Touch easily. I only charged them for about 45 mins so I don't know yet how long the charge lasts. I picked these headsets up today at my local Comp USA(Tiger Direct store). The sound is good and the range is 25 to 30 feet away.I have been wearing them for over an hour and they are comfortable. I paid $29.95 for them which is a good price. I needed them because Apple came out with 3.0 for my i Touch which turned on the Bluetooth. Now I can listen to music directly without wires.
Maybe they are reconditioned--at the price I paid, around $25, they probably are--but if so it wasn't mentioned by either vendor (TigerDirect and CellShop). I got the "white box" version, whatever that is. the same thing happened. But reconditioned or not, the darn things ought to at least turn on. I give. I tried two different sets of this thing.
I returned them, got another set, charged it up, and. Came in a white box, no clamshell packaging, just the headsets, charger, and manual in a box. The first one arrived, I charged it up, pushed the Power button, and nothing happened. FWIW, this product lists for three different prices on Amazon. I would think that's the minimum one should expect from electronic gear. Wouldn't turn on.
Won't power up.
These headphones would be perfect if it wasn't for the poor manufacturing. Two days ago I grabbed them to listen to some music and the earpiece was broken just like the other reviews. I bought these headphones less than a month ago. The sound quality was great and the range and compatability were both excellent.
Have used them with my cell phone and laptop with no problems with pairing. This is my first experience with wireless bluetooth headsets and I thought I would give them a try at this super low price. I highly recommend. Sound quality is not bad at all. I have not been disappointed. These LG HBS-200 units are great.
I am very pleased and thinking of getting another pair to use with my laptop. I got these to use with my LG cell phone. They work great.
